Our Story
Marirose and Christy goofing off in a restaurant supply warehouse when they were first starting the business.
Marirose and Christy were rock climbing at their local climbing gym in Berkeley when they came up with the idea for Muffin Revolution. They wanted a portable meal that wasn’t a bar--they wanted a meal in a muffin! The concept of a muffin, at the time, needed a major upgrade from the “white flour white sugar” standard. What if a muffin could be just nuts, dates, and fruit, and a few more things?
Their first account was selling muffins at the front desk to climbers and gym-goers. They were a huge hit, and a revolution was born!
Our Gluten-Free Commitment
We take gluten allergies and sensitivities very seriously and that is why our muffins are made in a dedicated gluten-free facility where absolutely no gluten is allowed to enter. Beyond that, we are certified gluten-free by the Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO).
